About All Smiles
Case Study: Sarah K. Dixon
Before the treatment she had a ‘gummy’ smile, with unsightly crowns and
stained teeth. She underwent a ‘smile lift’ involving gum surgery, a wait of
three or four months to heal, then fitting of crowns, bridges and veneers.
Sarah remembers:
“I had severe issues with my teeth from childhood, and had undergone
several rounds of surgery at Guy’s which caused me to develop a fear
of dentists. By my early 20s I had very crooked teeth, so I approached
a local NHS orthodontist who carried out a patch-up job which was the
best option available on the NHS in the UK at that time. In recent years,
my gums started to recede and unsightly metal could be seen at the top
of my front teeth.
I realised I was losing confidence and felt that something better should
be done. I admit I was terrified, but decided I couldn’t live with the
discomfort any more.
So I swallowed my fear and went into consultations with Dr Ash Deved.
He is an excellent dentist as well as a nice guy and I was pleased that
he had competent training and access to technology that had not been
available in the UK until now.
Between Dr Deved and his appointed gum surgeon, they have corrected
my lifelong dental problems. It took about six months from start to finish,
but I now have the best smile I’ve ever had! People act differently towards
me and it really has changed my life.”

Case Study: Rob Janowski
Rob was concerned about the colour, shape and size of his front teeth.
Dr Deved restored them with veneers.
Rob advises:
"After many years of grimacing because I was too ashamed to smile, I
finally took the plunge and saw Dr. Ash about getting front caps. I
should have done it years ago. They look great and give me a lot more
confidence in social situations.
What really impressed me about Dr. Ash was the amount of care and
attention he took to make sure that the caps fitted perfectly with my
jaw action. They feel like my old front teeth when I eat - but they
certainly look much better when I smile."

Case Study: Rav Channa
Rav had an upper right front tooth which was quite protruding, and
she was quite concerned about it. Dr Deved realigned and straightened
her teeth with Invisalign. The process took a few months but the
aligners are quite comfortable and people hardly noticed she was
wearing them.
Rav explains:
“I used to suck my thumb and my front tooth started to protrude
outwards. When I was older I felt self-conscious about my teeth
and decided to get them straightened. Dr Deved was recommended to
me by a family friend.
He used Invisalign which meant wearing plastic retainers to
straighten my teeth over a 6-8 month period. I couldn't believe
that the time frame was so short.
I'm very happy with the results. My teeth are nice and straight
now. It's been about two years and my teeth have retained their
new position.
Invisalign is definitely worth it if you want straight teeth but
don't want to wear a permanent brace. Dr Deved makes the whole
experience quite pleasant and I would definitely recommend his
practice, especially to those who are scared of dentists!”
